I must admit that I am an NPR junkie, but I didn’t used to be.
Back when I drove more often, I had my 10 disc Kenwood CD Changer stuffed with my favorites. Eventually, I found CD’s to become more of a pain than they were worth, so I gave up and started listening to the radio. Well, as most everyone should know, most radio stations play the same thing over and over and over and over in between of many annoying, long, and useless adverts.
Then I found NPR, which is always playing informative, thoughtful and sometimes absolutely hilarious content!
As I write this, I find that talk radio is somewhat distracting, but when I am programming, talk radio is really awesome! Who knew?!
So the reason for this post is to tell you of this new Gem I’ve recently found, the NPR 24 Hour Program Stream! Just visit http://www.npr.org, and click on Listen, you will see the 24 Hour Program Stream listed as the first menu option.
I absolutely love it.
Thanks, NPR.
